Meet Your Physical Therapist
Dr. Nicole Salge, PT, DPT, IADN Cert. Specialist
Nicole earned her undergraduate degree from Stockton University where she majored in Psychology and minored in Holistic Health. Upon graduation, she worked with elementary school children and coached high school cross country and track & field. During these years, she found joy in helping those around her and realized her passion for learning more about health, fitness, and the human body. This led her towards a new career in Physical Therapy.
She spent the next three years working towards her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Arcadia University. There, she gained clinical experience in the hospital setting with patients who underwent cardiac surgeries and the outpatient setting where she treated a caseload consisting of a variety of post-operative patients and patients with acute/chronic orthopedic injury or pelvic floor dysfunction. After graduation, she furthered her education through coursework from Herman and Wallace to become qualified as a Pelvic Health Physical Therapist and fulfilled the requirements to become a Certified Specialist in Dry Needling through Intricate Art Spine & Body Solutions while working full time in the outpatient orthopedic setting.
She prides herself on creating a therapeutic environment that is educational and fun for her patients, which empowers them to regain control of their health for the long term. Outside of the clinic, she considers herself a hybrid athlete who loves to take on new challenges. She competes in a variety of events such as triathlon, DekaFit, and Hyrox. Recently, she completed her first marathon and ultramarathon all in one day (33+ miles of trails in Maine!). In her down time, you’re likely to find her either planning her next National Park trip or playing with her dog Penny.
